There are two performance opportunities* each year. The Spring performance is an open forum, allowing students to choose any music style. The Fall performance offers a theme, which serves to broaden the students’ repertoire, familiarizing them with various musical styles. Performance fees are variable, depending upon the venue. If a piano accompanist or rehearsal CD is required, there is a separate fee.
Examples of Fall Themes are:
- Country Western/Folk
- 50’s/60’s Rock and Roll (with a live band)
- Sing With a Family Member “We Are Family”
- Movie Music
- Broadway Shows
- Duets

*Performance opportunities are encouraged, but not required. These
opportunities serve to foster self-confidence and build character, as
well as teach performance skills. Students who choose not to perform
are encouraged to attend as an audience member. 100% of these students
tell us they regret not performing and always perform at the next
opportunity. Positive reinforcement and encouragement are paramount in
our studio; therefore, performances are not competitive in any way.
